This cage was inspired by my favorite theme of Alice in Wonderland.  The cage itself is painted in a Linen White chalk paint over Java Brown sanded to give it a distressed look, and the interior of the cage is a custom pale Lilac Purple.  The show-stopper door is Behr's Caicos Turquoise over Maui Sand Grey, sanded to distress, washed with neon pink to highlight the wood grain, then dry-brushed and flecked with purple, grey, light turquoise, and neon pink.  The mesh is 1/2 inch hardware cloth.  The dimensions of this cage are 14.5" tall by 31" long by 13" deep.

This cage is the sister cage to the blue Alice in Wonderland cage, and I used the second rescued cupboard door for this cage.  The frame is painted a custom pale Pink over Nautical Blue chalk paint and sanded to distress, and the interior is a custom pale Irish green chalk paint.  The door is again eye-catching, painted first in a custom Choke-Cherry pink-neon pink blend over Java Brown and distressed, washed with purple, dry-brushed with light grey and pale pink, and flecked with dark purple and green.  The mesh is 1/2 inch hardware cloth and the dimensions are 14.5" x 31" x 13".
